Cascade Clamps - Founded in Portland, Oregon in the year 1943, the Cascade Manufacturing Company started as a small machine store hiring just four individuals. Overall sales for that particular year amounted to about 60 thousand dollars. The first recorded sales revenues involved the assembly and machining of stainless-steel pipe fittings, valves and different parts. Throughout five years of operation, the company had expanded to 40 employees and their yearly sales volume had risen to $330,000. In the 1950's, Cascade began designing, making and selling hydraulic attachments.
